World Teachers’ Day: Celebrating the amazing work of our educators

On Friday 28th October it was World Teachers’ Day which was a day to celebrate ALL our staff who work hard to provide our students the very best educational experience possible. Our teachers, education support staff, administration staff and allied health staff work as a cohesive team to make learning at Concord School engaging, safe, innovative and fun. It is our incredible staff that work together to help every student ‘be the best they can be’. #thanksvicteachers

OT Week

Last week, staff from Concord School celebrated the amazing work our Occupational Therapists do for students and staff. Staff explored their sensory profiles including movement, deep pressure, touch, smell and gratitude statements.

Term 4 

SSG Meetings

On Tuesday 29th November, we will have our final Student Support Group (SSG) meetings for this year. These SSGs provide an opportunity for families to discuss the Semester Two Student Report with the classroom teacher as well as celebrate student learning and achievement for 2022.

 

Specialist teachers and Allied Health staff will also be available to meet with you upon request. We will continue to offer both platforms for the meetings - WebEx and onsite. The SSGs will be held after school between 3.15pm – 7.00pm.

 

Bookings for SSGs will be open via Compass from Tuesday 22nd November. Further information regarding booking details will be provided through Compass in the coming weeks and class specific information will be communicated by your child’s classroom teacher.
