Australian Mathematics Competition

All students in Years 3 to 6 are invited to participate in the Australian Mathematics Competition (AMC) at St James’ School in week 4 of this term. 

The AMC is an engaging 30-problem competition that demonstrates the importance and relevance of mathematics in students’ everyday lives. 

The competition will be held over two days:

• Wednesday, 3rd August for years 3 and 4, and 
• Friday, 5th August for years 5 and 6. 

Entry costs are covered by the school. 

If you wish for your child to participate in the competition, please respond to the Operoo request by Monday 25th July 2022, as the school is required to register participating students.
