Principal's Report
Dear CSC community,
I would like to welcome everyone to the 2021 school year, although we are now in what will hopefully be only a five day lockdown. We will continue to keep our community updated as information comes to hand and have included information relating to the College closure in this newsletter.
I want to congratulate our 2020 year 12 graduates. I am very proud of you all for managing so well, your final year of high school during the COVID lockdowns. I encourage you to follow your hearts and dreams, and I wish you all the best in your chosen endeavours.
I would also like to extend a warm welcome to our new students and families. There is a lot to discover and participate in at CSC, and I look forward to seeing our new students settle into our community, and find the connections and activities that will enhance their school experiences.
2021 brings with it a fresh start for everyone, and it is timely that we are reminded of our community values. Craigieburn Secondary College’s values are Respect, Responsibility, Achievement and Community.
- We respect ourselves, our school and each another, and understand that our attitudes and behaviours have an impact on the people around us
- We are responsible for ourselves as learners and for the learning environment and opportunities that we create
- We strive to achieve our best
- We are members and representatives of our learning community in our classrooms, on school grounds, in the wider community and in our homes.
As members of the CSC learning community it is important that we all ensure that everyone comes to school each day knowing they are safe and supported in their learning and social interactions. I ask everyone to;
- Be kind to others
- Wear your uniform with pride
- Come to school ready to learn with books, pens and your laptop
I look forward to seeing everyone back on site.
Warm regards,
Kate Morphy
