From the Principal

Nicholas Boyhan

Dear Parents and Carers,

Here we are again, in the final few weeks of the school year.  We have had such a busy time recently with incursions, excursions, sports events and musical performances.  Our children have been so lucky to be able to get out and about so much this year after a couple of years without those opportunities.  I have enjoyed spending time with the Year 3-6 Children at Orienteering, the F-2s at the Melbourne Museum and I am looking forward to a day out with the 5/6s at ACMI on Thursday 1 December.  Special thanks to the staff and parent helpers who have made these exciting experiences possible.

Rescheduling Twilight Sports

La Nina has been presenting its challenges, interrupting a number of events, including our Twilight Sports earlier this week.  At the risk of further disappointment, we are scouring the calendar for a free date for this to be rescheduled.  We hope to find one that does not clash with school and other sporting events.  We would like to give families as much notice as possible so we hope to confirm this by Monday.  Stay tuned to your emails and Social Media for the announcement of the rescheduled date for this event.

Friday 25 November has been earmarked for our Term Four Working between 3:15pm and 6:15pm.  I am aware that Saturdays don't suit everyone with children's Sporting commitments and other things. A form will be emailed to families to indicate whether they will be involved.

This will be a chance for parents to cover off their Working Bee Levy.  Attendance at one Working Bee entitles families to a credit of $100 on their levies.

If you have not attended a Working Bee and are unable to attend this one, you can still get a credit on your Working Bee Levy.  Please get in touch and let us know a time when you can spare three hours and you can be allocated tasks to perform.

Hoping for another really strong turn out at the Working Bee, as we had at our previous one.

Reconciliation

Please pray with us for James, Matilda, Lexi and Clara, who have completed their preparations for the sacrament of Reconciliation and are participating in this Sacrament of Healing in Term Four. Please see the Education in Faith link for further details.

Best wishes for a restful weekend.

Kind regards,

Nick.
