Dreaming Garden for 2023

Last week Mrs Catherine Dyke and Marissa Kerr went to the Bendigo Art Exhibition at the Bendigo Cathedral to receive the Philomena Billington Social Justice Through the Arts Scholarship grant of $15,000. We applied for this grant to put towards creating an indigenous garden at school next year.

As part of the proposal, we would love to have as many of our families involved in the creation of this project. The Dreaming Garden will be a major focus for learning across the school in 2023.

If any parents or families would like to be part of creating artwork, planting or have any other suggestions that could be put into our garden, please let Marissa Kerr or Catherine Dyke know.

We will have a meeting to discuss the garden further with our Indigenous families at a future date.
