Year 9/10 Digital Photography and the Story Teller

In 2020, Digital Photography and the Story Teller students have been able to embrace remote learning with creativity and passion. They have taken the opportunity to use the safe creative space of the home environment to delve more deeply into other people’s worlds and create photographic images which have gone further than many other pre-COVID classes have gone before. Students were able to gain influence from such Photographic luminaries as Cindy Sherman, Gregory Crewdson, David Hockney and Tracey Moffat to create other worldly dreamscapes that make us question the context of the work. They have learnt various photographic conventions, lighting techniques and rules pertaining to the use of the camera such as depth of field and shutter speed.
