Year 12 Studio Art

Students in Studio Art have successfully forged through the year despite the vast number of bumps along the way, coming up with some extremely successful final pieces. In Unit 3 they had to create an Exploration Proposal that focused on a theme they were interested in, influential artists, mediums and techniques to explore and the aesthetics that were most important to them. Throughout their folio they experimented within these areas and came up with a number of ‘Potential Directions’ that guided them toward the creation of their final images in Unit 4. Usually in Unit 4 the student creates a few final images that are related to each other, however due to the COVID adjustments students were asked to create just one image that related back to the theme in their Exploration Proposal. These exciting images are the product of this journey.
