Year 10 Animation and Multimedia

We have had an action-packed course this year in Animation. We took the opportunity of remote learning to explore the world of stop motion animation. In the stop motion animation unit, students investigated different types of stop motion techniques including object motion, pixilation, claymation and cut out motion. Students designed sets, staged and filmed in a variety of settings within their own home. Due to the availability of space, students were able to produce a diverse range of animations. In the digital animation unit, students learned to animate 2D drawing using Adobe Animate. They also studied the principle of animation, and media codes and conventions throughout the course in order to apply them in their final production.
