Grant Money

The Gardiner Dairy Foundation Grants Program, in conjunction with the Foundation for Rural & Regional Renewal (FRRR), has been providing grants to not-for-profit organisations for the past 18 years.  We have been very fortunate to have been a recipient of these grants in the past.  This year, we applied for assistance with our veggie patch.

Tagged, Edible Garden, we were delighted to find out that we had once again, been allocated $5000 towards improving our old veggie patch and giving it new life.

Working collaboratively, Mr. Valentine's Community Projects class and Ms. Doller's Design, Art & Adventures class brought this tired and forgotten space back to life.  It is now a space that not only sprouts fresh vegetables, it also offers something for the eye to behold in the form of an amazing artwork that covers the old shed.

Materials and supplies for this project were sourced locally and all involved would like to thank the Gardiner Dairy Foundation and FRRR for making the students' plans a reality.
