School Council Meeting 22nd May 2023

School Council members convened last Monday evening for their monthly meeting. 

The meeting commenced with the sharing of 2022 Annual Report to the Community. Here, Jarrod introduced the evening and spoke to the contributing factors of the achievements for 2022. Our Learning Specialist, Kim spoke to the work in supporting the learning of students and teachers in literacy. 

Reports included Junior School Council, where JSC reps are currently examining school values. Additional reports included Resources who spoke about the lease and update of student devices for 2023. 

Education sub-committee and School Council have reviewed and endorsed the AIP for 2023. The Environment committee discussed a focus on sustainability, with links to JSC (rubbish and recycling) and will explore additional resources that support sustainable practices within schools. 

The next School Council meeting will be held on Monday 19th of June.
