MPW's Biggest Morning Tea
On Thursday, 22nd June we will be hosting MPW's Biggest Morning Tea to raise funds for the Cancer Council. This event is a joint fundraising effort by the MPW Fundraising Group and the Junior School Council (JSC). Please put this date in your diaries and come along and enjoy morning tea with our school community. There will be a raffle and a guest speaker, entry to the Morning Tea will be a $5.00 donation.
Prior to the Morning Tea, students will be making a daffodil in their classrooms that will be displayed on the day. JSC will also be holding a Bake Stall on Wednesday, 21st June with all funds raised going to our fundraising effort for the Biggest Morning Tea. Look out today for communication from the Junior School Council (JSC).

EVERY CUPPA MAKES A DIFFERENCE
$150 provides two people recently diagnosed with cancer with one-on-one support, connecting them to a trained Cancer Connect volunteer.
$500 helps provide training to leaders of cancer support groups where people can meet and share their experiences in an emotionally supportive environment.
$1000 pays for an analysis of two gene samples for a research project.
Bunnings BBQ
On Saturday 19th of August, the MPW community will be manning the Bunnings BBQ at Maribyrnong. This is a fantastic fundraising opportunity for the school, look out for more details next term.
Parent Social Function
Please save the date for the MPW Parent Social Function which will be held on Saturday, 9th of September at the Essendon Rowing Club. Further details on this not to be missed social event coming soon.
