Naranga Sensory Garden

The Hands-on Pathways group have done it again! With the help of a $500 grant from the Nursery and Garden Industry Victoria, the students have designed and created a sensory garden on the school grounds. The garden includes flower beds containing plants chosen to delight the senses.

The work was done as part of the Personal Development Skills Strand of the Foundation VCAL. The students planned out the space, created the beds, laid a surface and planted the shrubs and flowers. It was hard work, but I think you’ll agree it was very much worth it.
