It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

In the Music Room!

Christmas has arrived in the Music Room, albeit a little early this year! But you know what? This year has had plenty of challenges for our students, families and staff, so why not embrace the most magical time of the year in the most magical space in the school (if I do say so myself)!

This week we've brushed off our jingle bells, sung the odd carol and spread joy with tinsel and twinkle lights!

While spreading joy is the aim of the game at this time of year, our talented year 12 student, Brodie, has been spreading the joy all year long! Brodie has a passion for playing the guitar and singing. You can often find him out in the Senior Yard at lunchtime, playing for his peers. This week Lower Junior student, Nhial, has been receiving guitar lessons from Brodie! Well done Brodie and watch out Naranga school for this young up and coming musician!

Still angry but not so sad!

After the success of the Upper Junior's bullying experiment, these plants have come back home with me to be nursed back to health! Last week our bullied plant was looking terribly sad and very near death! Whilst the Upper Juniors have been preparing their concert performance and filming this week, our bullied plant has received lots of love and kind words. Next, we'll see how these plants respond to various musical genres!

Stay safe, keep singing and don't forget to jingle those bells!
