Fun at the Tennis Schools Cup

Senior students take part in the first ever MDF Tennis Schools Cup

On Tuesday 15th October, a group of our senior students travelled to Melbourne Park to play tennis at the very first MDF Schools Cup. The event was organised by Tennis Australia, Special Olympics and the Movement Disorder Foundation. All of the students had a great time, playing tennis skill games and even competing against other schools.

At the end of the day, the students got the chance to meet Grand Slam Champion, Todd Woodbridge. One of our students, Alyshia Natoli-Chambers was interviewed for SBS World News. She gave a wonderful soundbite and appeared on the show that evening.

All in all, the day was a great success and hopefully it sparked an interest in tennis among the students who attended.
