Manyung Camp - MIT, SPE & Early Years

 

Junior Mitchell-Daws, Junior Spector and Early Years

Thursday 17th October to Friday 18th October 2019

 

 

These two class groups and five early years students went to Camp Manyung for one night. While they were there, they participated in archery, tree rolling, kitchen garden program and universal bikes. It was great to see all students trying their best and giving new experiences a go. 

 

 

 

 

Below is what the students thought about camp: 

 

 

 

 

 

Laughlan - "I liked the tree rolling".

Dean - "I liked the bikes and the two-rider bike".

 

 

 

 

Sharnae - "At Camp Manyung we did heaps of activities. My favourite was tree rolling, bikes, kitchen garden - pizza and the movie. We had to wear a harness for tree rolling. At first I was scared but once I tried it, it was fun. The obstacle course had punching bags, bridges, ropes and a flying fox".

 

 

 

Christian - "At Camp Manyung, I liked the bikes".  

Rydah - "At Camp Manyung, I liked archery. I used the bow and arrow. I got it in the white spot and on the hay". 

Chloe - "I had lots of fun on camp. My favourite activity was archery". 

 

 

 

Thomas - "I liked doing the activities at camp. I really enjoyed them. My favourites were bike riding and tree rolling. I also liked the pizzas and archery". 

Oleira - "I had fun on camp. I really liked archery". 

 

 

 

 

Mia - "It was fun."

Dylan - "I had a go at tree rolling. I liked the food and the sleep over. I can't wait until camp next year". 

 

 

 

 

Chloe - "I had lots of fun. My liked watching a movie at night time". 

Monique - "I loved going on the flying fox. It went quick". 

 

 

 

Jake - "I liked watching the movie and using the arrow for archery".

Adam - "I loved sliding down the flying fox and going around the tree rolling track and I liked watching Alvin and the Chipmunks". 

 

 

 

 

 

Juliette - "I loved being a kind helper at camp".
