POLDING WINTER TRIALS

Again well done to Annie (hockey) and Frankie (football) who represented the Armidale Diocese at the Polding Winter Trials held at Bathurst last Friday. From all reports I heard both girls played exceptionally well against the very best players from all of the Catholic Schools in the northern half of NSW. Both of the girls should be very proud of themselves for their outstanding achievements. It goes to show the amount of talent in various fields that we have here at St Patrick's Primary.

SCHOOL OZTAG COMPETITION

Our last round game for our lunch time Oztag competition was held on Tuesday with Lions taking on the Rabbits. This was a very exciting game to watch with a lot of breaks and desperate defence of the try line. It was a topsy turvy affair with both teams winning at multiple stages of the game. At fulltime, The Lions ending up winning as they defeated the Rabbits, 7 to 6.

Next Tuesday will see our first semi final taking place and this will be the Gorillas playing the Rabbits. The winner of this game will go straight to the grand final on Tuesday 24th May.
