Parent Teacher Interviews
Parent Teacher Interviews will occur on Wednesday 5th April, 3.30pm - 7.00pm and Thursday 6th April, 10.00am - 1.00pm. There will be no scheduled classes on Thursday 6th of April, therefore the last day of classes, Wednesday 5th April, is a full day with the usual 2:50pm finish.
Booking for Parent Teacher Interviews will open on Monday 27th of March and you will be notified via the Compass Parent Portal when they open.
Morwell Campus Rebuild
Earlier in the month we were excited to announce that the new administration building at the Morwell Campus is now open. This is the final stage of the campus rebuild that commenced back in 2017.
Signage and minor landscaping works will continue to be completed over the coming weeks.
Student Leadership
Last Friday the Morwell Campus had students wore casual dress for National Day of Action Against Violence and Bullying.
Student Leaders organised a range of lunch time activities which included a positive message board, free orange slices and face painting.
HPV
Students undertaking Year 9 HPV during project time and the Year 10 HPV elective are fundraising for the 2023 Human Powered Vehicle Energy breakthrough event in Maryborough.
During the Energy Breakthrough event students are required to demonstrate their knowledge of design and construction of the bikes as well as present to a panel of judges their knowledge of sustainable energy – which is an under-riding concept of the class. Student's physical endurance are also put to the test, partaking in the 24 hour race involving over 100 teams from Victoria and interstate.
Students from the Human Powered Vehicle Team have designed merchandise to sell in order to fundraise costs for the 5 day camp.
