Celebrating success

Congratulations

On Sunday 18 June, Ms Naim and I had the pleasure of attending a ceremony to celebrate the achievements of our students who participated in an annual short story writing competition, sponsored by the Australian Arab Cultural Forum. 

Seven schools and fifty-six students in total entered the competition from the Liverpool region and the Mayor of Liverpool, Ted Mannoun, presented awards to all participants. 

Thank you to Ms Naim, who worked with our students to support them in the writing of their creative responses.

Congratulations to Sadeer Al-Zuhairi from Year 10, who was awarded first place in his age group for his creative piece written in Arabic!
