Just Desserts - Year 8 Elective

On Thursday  22 June 2023, Ms O’Sullivan invited me to take a sneak peek at the Year 8 Just Desserts showcase. Students were very proud to show off their productions. These pink cupcakes looked and smelt delicious as did these Blondies/Brownies. Thanks for having me in the class Ms O’Sullivan and Year 8 Just Desserts elective.

Year 12 Wellbeing Assembly/Morning Tea

On Thursday morning, Mr Collins and Mr M Howard organised a surprise wellbeing assembly/morning tea for the Year 12 cohort. It was a fantastic event with tea, hot chocolates, biscuits, as well as prizes to be won. The students were very surprised indeed and very appreciative. The looks on their faces as they walked in were priceless.

Deputy Premier Prue Car's visit

On Tuesday the Deputy Premier and Minister for Education, Prue Car came to the school for a quick visit. While here she got to see the Support Unit perform a song and then she took part in the Cecil Voice Podcast. This was run by some of our amazing year 12 school leaders who did a fantastic job. Thanks to Mr Floresca for his work on this also. Another special thanks and well done to Mrs Marando and Mr Colussi for working with their classes to cater an unbelievable morning tea and coffees for the Deputy Premier, teachers and students. Great job staff and students.
