St Mary’s College to launch industry led coding programme

Computing professionals needed!

We are proud to announce that St Mary’s College has been selected as the first Tasmanian school to implement the prestigious industry led coding programme ‘CS in Schools’ to a cohort of Year 7 students in 2021.

The CS in Schools programme is creating sustainable change in Australian digital technology education. 

It helps schools create relevant and meaningful digi-tech education by building industry connections, developing teacher confidence, and providing a complete digi-tech pathway for all secondary students.

If you are a computing professional and would like to volunteer in one of our classrooms, CS in Schools is actively recruiting volunteer computing professionals to support our school.
