MPW 80s Trivia Night 2018

Hi Families,

Can’t make it to the annual MPW Trivia Night this year……….no problem at all, you can still bid and win some wonderful items/services in our Silent Auction! We’ve taken the Auction online this year enabling all of our wonderful MPW families to take part.

You can already browse the amazing items generously donated by local businesses and MPW families and once logged in create a favourites list by clicking the heart on Auction listings. Please keep checking back as we still have a few more things to add before the Auction goes live and you can bid!

 

The Auction will GO LIVE on Sunday 27th May 2018 at 7pm 

So how does it work? Simple! 

The auction will run via the website link above so please make it a website favourite /add it to your phone’s home screen for easy access. The system allows Proxy bids where you can enter a Maximum bid and the system will bid on your behalf or you can manage your bids one by one! Email notifications are used to inform you when you have been outbid, made a successful bid or won the item at the end of the Auction. At the conclusion of the Auction on Saturday 2nd June 2018 at 10:30pm winners can only collect their items once full payment has been made via cash or credit card either at the Trivia Night on 2nd June or in the school office from Monday 4th June 2018.

 

Things to note:

  • Auction items’ conclusion time will automatically extend if a bid is made in the last 3 minutes of the Auction (up to a maximum of 30mins extension)
  • We have the right to amend the Auction conclusion time
  • New items may be added at any time prior to the conclusion of the Auction
  • Details of Auction items may be amended prior to any bids being received
  • Please keep the Online Auction details within the MPW community of existing families to enable us to manage it effectively

If you’re coming on the night:

  • Fully charge your phone (we will have a backup laptop if required)
  • Download a “QR Code Reader” app on your phone as Auction items will be displayed with QR codes allowing you to scan and go straight to the Auction item to make your bids
  • Bring along some extra gold coins to play some fun games and enter the raffle, dress up and bring your 80s knowledge, humour and dancing shoes!
