From the Principal

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year -

to all St Patrick's Parents & Friends

This is the last newsletter for the year, I take this opportunity to sincerely thank St Patrick's School community for all your support this year. We have achieved so much this year and for that we should all feel proud. I wish you all a very restful, holy and lovely Christmas.

Thank you Staff

I would like to thank the amazing staff at St Patrick's for all they have done in 2019. Have a great Christmas and a well deserved summer holiday.

Thank you to Mrs Sarah-Jane Hoy who has taken Kindergarten while Mrs Riley has been on sick leave.

Farewell to Mrs Kelly Walters & Mrs Susan Bowden for and best wishes for 2020 and your new adventures.

Movie Day - 16th December

On Monday the school travelled to Armidale to watch the movie, 'The Queen's Corgi' (Comedy/Animation). This was our end of year celebration/activity.

The cost of the bus & movie was covered by the school as a drought & fire wellbeing gift to the children & our families. A fun day was had by all!

Semester 2 Reports

Semester  two reports were posted home last week. A useful reference point for students, parents and teachers to ascertain the level of student performance is the New South Wales Education Standards Authority (NESA) Assessment Resources Centre which provides samples of student work and the grading such work would receive.

The following link takes you to this site http://arc.nesa.nsw.edu.au/  It is important for parents to realise that a C grade is a very sound result and one that indicates a student is performing well in that subject.
