Principal's News

Carmel Stutterd

Dear families,

I hope you have all had a great week. Again we have had some families in lockdown and my thoughts go out to all of you.

We welcomed back PHM yesterday and 2AK today and this is a move in the right direction. We have not had any more cases since last Saturday and again this is a positive sign.

We had 2 Infection Prevention nurses onsite on Wednesday to give me some advice on how we can improve our covid safe practices. We have had to set up a covid isolation room for students who are sent from their class to the office with any 'cold like 'symptoms'. The student will remain in the isolation room until they can be collected by a parent.

It was suggested that we do not spray cleaning fluid straight on to the tables but rather onto paper towels and then wipe the tables clean. Also the classrooms that are close to each other when getting their lunches/snacks will have staggered times rather than all be in the same area getting their lunch/snack.

We were told we were doing a great job.

Kids on Keys start next week.

2022 prep children have their first orientation day on Thursday.

We have a very large pile of lost property outside the uniform shop. It would be great if you could encourage your children to have a look for their lost clothing.

Enjoy your wet weekend,

kind regards
