Gifts and Fruits of the Holy Spirit

For Religion we completed a survey to see our personal strengths. Then we did a reflection about the Gifts and Fruits of the Holy Spirit for Confirmation. We made flames that show our strengths and how these match with the fruits and gifts of the Holy Spirit.

Foundation Buddies

Each week we meet with our Foundation buddies to complete an activity together or to enjoy our lunches in a shared space. We are really enjoying our time together.

Megan

I like meeting with my buddy because they always make me laugh. 

Mya

When I meet my buddy I feel happy because we get to chat and play. 

Tina

I enjoy this because I can learn how to be responsible and have fun. 

Sienna

I like meeting with my buddy because every time we meet we always have a great time.

I feel excited when I meet up with my buddy because he is very energetic and playful.

It is fun when I meet up with my buddy because he always makes me laugh. I love that he likes to talk about dinosaurs.

Maps

We enjoyed being cartographers when we made our own maps. In this activity we needed to demonstrate our understanding of the features of maps and apply them to our work.

Art

In Visual Arts, we had to “look inside the box” and draw something inside it. We needed to use shading and blending to complete our work.

House Saints

At SJV our sports houses are named after saints. Grade 5/6 students had to research their house saint and create a brochure or poster on who this saint was and why they were so special.
