NAPLAN 2023

Year 7 and Year 9 NAPLAN Testing March

NAPLAN ONLINE MARCH 2023

In 2023, NAPLAN testing has been moved to March. Sandringham College will undertake the testing between Wednesday 15th and Tuesday 21st of March. Catch-up tests to take place after this window until Friday 24th March.

Schools transitioned from paper-based to computer-based assessments in 2022.

Students, teachers, parents, and carers are invited to use the public demonstration tests to familiarise themselves with the types of questions and related functionalities available in the online NAPLAN assessment.

Some of the key features include a range of question types, onscreen tools, timers, and interactive navigation. Students are encouraged to try all the tests for their year level to practice the complete range of question formats available.

Students with a disability

A student with a disability can undertake the demonstration tests at their school, using the device they are familiar with, to determine whether they can access the platform and which disability adjustment codes (DACs) could support their participation. All test items are keyboard accessible. Disability adjustments can be determined on a case-by-case basis by a school, together with a parent/carer, student, and where appropriate utilise tests that meet the needs of a student.
