Swimming Carnival
On Wednesday 22nd February we had 60 students attend our college swimming trials at Oakleigh Recreation Centre. Students swam in freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly over 50m, 100m and 200m distances. We even had some students complete the Individual Medley which sees them swim one lap of each stroke over a total of 200m.
The students represented the college well. Their efforts were stellar and all should feel proud of how they performed at the event.
Those who came first will automatically go through to the Kingston Divisional swimming carnival on Thursday 23rd March. Those who placed will have the opportunity to compete in one of our relay teams. A new event on Compass will notify students if they will be representing Sandringham College at the divisional meet.
Congratulations to all students (swimmers and helpers) who attended the carnival!
