Indonesian - Bu Condely 

Selamat datang di Bahasa Indonesia – Welcome to Indonesian! 

In the Prep-2 classrooms we are learning to recognise that Indonesia is another country situated just north of Australia. We have looked at world maps to locate both countries and worked on creating our own Indonesian flags. 

The 3/4 students have also discussed the importance of having a National Flag and what these represent. We examined the meaning of the colours on the Indonesian flag and drew them. 

Students in the 5/6 classrooms have been learning about Indonesia’s location and national identity. They created some interesting and clever acrostic poems all about Indonesia.
