District Cross Country

6th May 2022 – Lilydale Lake

On the 6th of May, just two days after our school cross country 49 students headed down to Lilydale Lake to compete in the District Event.

Emerald had a very successful day, full results are yet to be published, however Kiara, Miah, Teagan and Jasmine placed in the top three in their age groups. And many others have also moved on to Regionals on the 14th of June at Yarra Glen Racecourse.

Emerald Secondary Junior, Intermediate and Senior boys represented the College at interschool Netball on Friday 13 May. All three teams upheld the college values whilst playing in cold and wet conditions in a round robin tournament. There were many challenges faced on the day, but our students worked hard to achieve their potential and respected the decisions of the umpires. All three teams played well and tried hard, learning new skills, and adapting to the rules of the game. Their efforts were commendable. The Intermediate boys team made it the finals to play for third overall, and they won. Congratulations to all students involved for an outstanding effort whilst representing Emerald Secondary College.
