Man Made Wonders

of the World

During remote learning the year 4’s participated in an incursion run by Earth Ed.

We learnt about some of the modern wonders of the world, including the Great Wall of China, Machu Picchu, The Pyramids of Giza and Petra. We learnt about what these structures were made of, why they are so strong and why they have stood the test of time. Our challenge was to design a structure which could act as a wonder of the world right here in Australia! We were allowed to draw, create or even use Minecraft to make the designs. There were so many great creative designs and we had so much fun creating them! Below you can see a giant clock tower created on Minecraft and a 3D model of a grand museum.
