AIC Track and Field

COORDINATOR

It was great to see an enthusiastic group of students at training this week with many commitments to juggle this term. Next week our House Athletics Carnival will allow our boys the opportunity to compete for the first time this year and see what level their fitness is at. This will provide great motivation for the squad moving forward into the season as they have a performance to improve on. Please see below for some important reminders:

  • Training Program – the training schedule for the next 2 weeks, including the House carnival, are available on the College APP - please make sure you have signed up to receive the Track and Field notifications
  • As we head into a busy football and rugby season the work you do now is very important. Please make sure you get ahead!
  • Training gear – now is the time to make sure you organise the correct training shoes (spikes, throwing shoes, etc). Always bring your usual running shoes to training along with your event-specific gear.

Important reminders:

  • T&F CAMP – this will continue this year for 60 students. Friday, September 18 – Sunday, September 20
