All Saints Day and All Souls Day
At the beginning of November, we recognised All Saints Day and All Souls Day. Our staff and students were given the opportunity to remember and pray for those who have died by writing their name on a piece of paper and placing it on the Cross. During the month of November we prayed for these people.
Parish Christmas Party Fun
It is beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
A wonderful gathering of our school and parish community was held on Saturday 26th November. After Mass, the Parish Centre hosted a fantastic Christmas themed evening. Thank you to everyone who attended and brought a plate to share.
Feast Day of St Francis Xavier
Thank you to everyone who came to celebrate the Feast Day of Saint Francis Xavier at a lovely Family Mass yesterday. It was a wonderful opportunity reflect on our patron saint, Saint Francis Xavier. During Mass, the second candle was lit on the wreath for the second week of Advent.
The congregation then joined together after Mass, for a picnic morning tea and a concert by our amazing School Band. The band, led by Mrs Rosemary Smith, are an outstanding group of talented musicians.
