PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

Our staff began the 2023 school year by participating in three professional development days. Last week we attended a two day Western Cluster Professional Learning Conference at the Narrabri RSL. Our staff took this opportunity to network with staff from within the Western Cluster of Diocesan Primary Schools, including Boggabri, Walgett, Warialda and Wee Waa. They also enjoyed interacting with staff from the Catholic Schools Office, Armidale and the guest speakers and workshop leaders.

They participated in further professional development on Monday at school as well as attending a special staff Mass and spent valuable time in the classroom preparing for 2023.

WELCOME TO 2023

At the start of each new school year it is always a pleasure to see so many bright and cheerful faces amongst our school community. Today we were excited to welcome our new and returning families to school. The students eagerly greeted their class teachers before hurrying to play with friends.

This year we welcome three new teaching staff members Miss Annabelle Mackey, Miss Tara Langfield and Mrs Emily Quirk. We are looking forward to getting to know them and working together this year. 

KINDERGARTEN

A special welcome to our new Kindergarten students who also had their first official day at 'big school' today! Our Transition Day at the end of last year has helped our students settle in as they become reacquainted with their teachers and classmates. It is a special honour to assist these students and their families as they begin their learning journey.
