Sports Report

PRIMARY  -  SWIMMING FOR SPORT 

Stages 2 and 3 - please make sure your child has the following items each Friday for swimming and that these items are labelled clearly with their name:

• Swimmers 
• Towel 
• Goggles (if required)
• $3 for pool entry OR their season pass

The last day of Primary Swimming for Sport is Friday 2nd December 2022.

INTENSIVE  SWIMMING 

Reminder that the Intensive Swimming program for Stage 1 commences Monday, 5th December. Please make sure your child brings the following items every day for swimming and that these items are labelled clearly with their name:

• Swimmers 
• Towel 
• Goggles (if required)
• Season Pass (if applicable)

DIOCESAN TOUCH FOOTBALL TRIALS

Last Friday 18th November, 8 students travelled to Tamworth to compete at the Diocesan Touch Football Trials. Well done to Cully Nairn, Isabel Sunderland, Eddie Lowick, Viktor Roth, Charlie Croker, Liam Bogdanoff, Walter Cameron and Tully Brown for your excellent display of teamwork and touch football skills. 

Congratulations to Isabel Sunderland and Eddie Lowick who will go on to compete at the Polding Trials in Parkes during Term 1, 2023.

DIOCESAN SUMMER TRIALS

Next Friday 2nd December, students will be representing St Francis Xavier's at the Diocesan Summer Trials in Tamworth. The students are competing for selection in basketball, cricket and tennis. Good luck to everyone attending next Friday. 

SOCCER GALA DAY 

Last Thursday we held our second Gala Day at school, this time for all the soccer players. Due to the wet weather earlier in the week we had to skip the playoffs and head straight to the finals. It was a great effort by the staff but they were no match for the mixed Stage 2 and 3 team who won 3-1. Congratulations students on your victory!

Next Wednesday 30th November,  we will play the final installment of the Gala Day games with the staff verses Year 6 team in Touch Football.
