VICTORIAN SCHOOLS GARDEN PROGRAM - 2021 AWARDS

Victorian Schools Garden Program - 2021 Awards.

We are very proud to announce that Cam and his Hands on Learning student’s garden has won $1,000 for the Most Engaging Student Garden for Well-being Learning Award. This was announced by Costa Georgiadis in a presentation ceremony. Here are some photos of the beautiful garden.

HANDS ON LEARNING FARM

Hand on Learning Farm

We are excited to increase our Hands on Learning days at the farm to twice a week.  As well as cleaning out and feeding the animals, the students have transformed a weed covered blank space into a great space to make our succulent garden. We are painting up pallets to turn into a pallet maze and now have our own space to use as our club house AKA The Shack. Here are a few photos.

Chair Up!

Hands on Learning have been taking old chairs and giving them some love and turning them into works of art. Take a look at what we have been doing. 

Our products are for sale and make excellent Christmas Presents. We have two rainbow chairs and one flower one available. The price is $50 and will go towards the HOL students lunch fund.
