Kerang District Health is proudly supporting not just one, but four School Based Traineeships completing a Certificate III in Individual Support delivered by Murray ACE in Swan Hill. A huge thank you to Kerang District Health, Murray ACE, and trainer Bec for the time, guidance, and support they provide to our students.

Partnerships like these create valuable opportunities for young people to gain real industry experience while working towards their qualifications and completing school.

Working together to support and grow the next generation in the health industry.

 Building Connections Across Generations:

Our Year 11 Health and Human Development students, under the guidance of Miss Ferrier, are excited to begin regular visits to Glenarm as part of their Unit 2 studies focusing on Developmental Transitions.

Over the coming weeks, students will visit Glenarm on a weekly basis, providing valuable opportunities to learn from and connect with older members of our community.

This partnership will benefit both students and residents by:

Building meaningful social connections across generations

Developing communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills

Promoting health and wellbeing, inclusion, and a stronger sense of community

We look forward to seeing the positive relationships that develop throughout this program and thank the Glenarm and Kerang District Health community for welcoming our students.
