Community Group 

We had our first Community Group meeting on Tuesday. 

We discussed:

• The success of our fete last year
• Social events we could have this year ( see flyer below for our first picnic in the park)
• Easter -Flyers to follow

            -Drawn April 2nd

            -Wrapping of baskets on Tuesday March 31st more information TBC

• Mothers Day Stall- flyers will go home at the end of term 1
• Bunnings BBQ - Save the date: June 7th
• Trial change of meeting time to 5.30pm every first Tuesday of the month during term. 
• Official community group positions- we are looking for - President/Chair 

                 - Vice President/vice chair 

                 - Social coordinator

                 - Minute keeper/secretary 

It’s always wonderful to discuss fun and exciting events and fundraising for our school. 

Thank you to those who could attend. Unfortunately with my technical skills I was unable to get the zoom working, hopefully the is will be up and running next meeting.

Our second meeting of the year will be: 

Tuesday, May 5, at 5.30pm in the staffroom. 

ALL WELCOME. Please note NEW TRIAL TIME AT 5.30pm. 

Agenda items will include:

• Mothers Day Stall ( Kristin -0424 704 339)
• Discussing allocation of fundraising efforts from the fete/prior fundraising
• Other fundraising and or social ideas for the year- Fun Planet social night 
• Official Community Group positions 
• Bunnings BBQ - June 7th
• End of term 2 BBQ

🥞🍓Shrove Tuesday 🍓🥞

A HUGE Thank you to all those wonderful parents who were able to assist with shaking, making and serving pancakes on shrove Tuesday. Honestly, days like that can not happen without volunteers. Massive Thank you to Tammy who coordinated the morning ensuring it run smoothly. 

🛝🤾‍♀️Foundation Rebound catchup 🤾🎊

Thank you very much to Meaghan for organising the Rebound catchup on Wednesday. It sounded like a fun morning where some foundation families got to meet and play. 

☕️🍪Open Day Cuppa🫖🍬

Thank you Michelle for helping to serve cuppas and biscuits to families checking out our beautiful school.

Our next Open Day is on:

Wednesday May 6th at 9.30-10.30 and 4.30-5.30. 

We are looking for a few helpers to come and serve cuppas and morning and/or afternoon tea on this day. 

It’s always creates a lovely feeling when there are some friendly parent faces when you are exploring a new school.
