The water was fast and the spirit even faster at the 2026 Armidale Diocesan Swimming Carnival in Inverell. Our school was proudly represented by a dedicated team of 15 students who took to the blocks with incredible determination, power and sportsmanship.
After a day of fierce competition against the best swimmers from across the region, all of our students achieved personal best times in their events.
A special mention must go to Georgia, who was named the Runner-Up Senior Girl Champion for the Armidale Diocese. To achieve this, a swimmer must consistently place at the top of their heats across multiple strokes- an outstanding result!

A huge congratulations to the following students who have progressed to the NSWCPS-Polding Swimming Championships, to be held at the Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre (SOPAC) on Wednesday, April 1st:
Following the excitement in the pool, our sporting focus now shifts to the field. Friday, March 6, a talented group of students will travel to various venues across Armidale to compete in the Diocesan Winter Trials.
We would like to wish the very best of luck to our students representing us in the following sports:

Yours in sport,
Miss Martin
