FWPS PA Meeting - Monday, 25th August - First Online Meeting

Join our first on-line meeting of the Parents Association! You asked, so we are giving it a go. The PA meeting will be held next Monday 25 August from 7-8pm and you can join via Microsoft Teams using the below link:

Got an event or activity you want on the agenda for 2026? This meeting will provide more information about the variety of roles available in the PA and how you can get your event / activity on the calendar for 2026. Take the opportunity to ask existing office bearers about their roles so you can choose to nominate for one at the AGM next month!

Uniform Shop - Monday, 8th September - We Need Volunteers

The uniform shop is scheduled on Monday, 8th September to run during pick-up time. We're still looking for some volunteers to help run the shop, a short 45 mins to volunteer and contribute to the school.

We are still short on volunteers and the session will not run without volunteers.

Junior Bake Sale - Friday, 12th September - We Need Volunteers

Looking for some keen bakers and helpers from our junior school to outdo the senior bake sale. Think whole cakes, cookies, slices, rocky road, scrolls and colourful treats to entice the school.

We're also looking for some helpers to set up and sell treats on the day.

Trivia Night - Raging Success!

What a wonderful celebration of the school community, when we came together last Friday night at Happy Receptions for the Opp-Shop Wedding Trivia Night!

A big thanks to Nico Lynch and the dedicated organising team: Hilary Veale, Nick Price, Nic Davis and Josh Madden for all the planning and behind the scenes negotiation to local suppliers to pull the event off. Thanks also to Tim Solly, our masterful host and auctioneer.

Where to start? But of course, the faaaashion darling, the fashion! Not even inclement weather could hold back the creative, the dazzling, the daggy and the downright absurd dress ups that graced the opulent Happy Receptions. Well done to everyone for embracing the theme of the night!

Highlights included: the wonderful trivia maestros and their local knowledge quiz, the rockin' live set from parent band ‘Talking Headlice’, funky tunes from DJ Tom Showtime, the stunning triple-layer Scott and Charlene wedding cake, the fabulous fashion parade and ‘stylish’ best dressed winner, the bridal bouquet toss, the trivia ‘brainiac’ table winners, the timeless trophy, and of course… the nail-biting, rip-roaring auction!

We are still confirming the finances but estimate a whopping $18,000.00 (approx.) was made on the night!

There were dozens upon dozens of folks who helped to put this event on - it really took a parent village - thank you one and all!

Final shout out to our local businesses who jumped on board and donated to the auction. Go and support them!
