Book Week

The 2026 Children's Book Week theme, "Symphony of Stories," celebrates the power of stories to bring people together and reminds us that every book adds its own unique voice to the wonderful world of reading.

Dress Up & Parade: 

Book Week celebrations continue this week with a range of fun literacy activities, culminating in our much-loved Book Week Parade during Friday morning assembly on the 28th August. It is optional for students to wear a costume inspired by a favourite book character or story. Costumes can be simple and even sports clothing works if you can tie it in with a book.  

We can't wait to celebrate the joy of reading together.
