PRAYER
According to tradition, in 1208 Our Lady appeared to St Dominic in a church in Prouille, France. During the apparition Mary taught Dominic how to pray the Rosary. Dominic brought the message of Jesus to many people and taught them how to Pray the Rosary. He also started an Order of Priests called the Dominicans, who still work around the world telling people about God’s love. For us today, praying the Rosary leads us to understand the mysteries of Jesus’ life from his incarnation, to his suffering, death and resurrection.
To pray the Rosary:
Make the Sign of the Cross
Pray the Apostles' Creed
Pray an Our Father
Prayer 3 Hail Mary's and a Glory Be
Pray the 5 Decades by announcing the mystery and then:
Praying an Our Father
Praying 10 Hail Marys
Praying the Glory Be
Finish your Rosary by praying the Hail, Holy Queen
Scroll through the images below for information on what mystery is said on what day and the prayers you will need to know to pray the Rosary:

COMMUNITY MASS
It was wonderful to see so many families last weekend at our Community Mass. All the children who attended received a set of Rosary Beads which had an accompanying brochure on how to Pray the Rosary. Thank you to our Prep Teachers who attended the Mass to support their students, who led us in the final hymn. Thanks also to our Liturgy Team for planning the Liturgy and setting up our sacred space.
