Parent Lounge Updates

We are pleased to announce further updates and enhancements to services available through Parent Lounge.

Pastoral Care Notifications

Parents and Carers are now able to view the awarding of merits, commendations and Letters of Recommendation under Student Details/Pastoral Care.  A notification will be sent when a new entry is recorded.

In addition to these positive affirmations of behaviour, details of student detentions will also be listed.

Medications

A recent enhancement to Parent Lounge is the ability for parents to provide details of medication a student is required to take during school hours.  This is accessed through Student Details/Medical Details with the option to add new medications or update existing medication dosage and schedules.  This will replace our existing paper form.

Medication will still need to be supplied to the school in the original packaging.

Attendance

We are aware there have been shortcomings in the ability to acknowledge and submit absence notifications.  Our settings have been updated to address these issues, however please advise us if you continue to have problems so we can seek to rectify any errors.  

A reminder of the following in regard to absences:

• Notification is required within 7 days otherwise absence will be recorded as unexplained.

   

• Long term illness will require a medical certificate.

   

• Students in Years 9 - 12 require a medical certificate for any absences the day before and day of assessments and/or exams.

   

• For extended absences (excluding illness) of more than 3 days during school term, please contact the School Office for the appropriate leave application.

Student Progress Meetings

Bookings are now open through Parent Lounge to schedule Student Progress Meetings on Tuesday 12 & Thursday 14 August 2025 with your child/ren's teacher/s.
