Ironside Book Week: Week 10 Thursday 17th September
We are looking forward to celebrating Book Week Day with our school community on Thursday 17 September (Week 10).
The Costume Parade will begin at 9:15am and will follow the same format as in 2025. Students in Years 3 to 6 will line the parade route while our Prep, Year 1 and Year 2 students parade through to the hall. They will then be followed by the Year 4, 5 and 6 cohorts. Please see the map below for details.
A short Book Week assembly will follow the parade, featuring a special book reading, the announcement of our Book of the Year Shadow Judging winners, and the presentation of the House Reading Cup. We look forward to sharing this celebration of books and reading with our students and families.

House Reading Cup
The final week of the House Reading Cup has arrived! The competition closes on Friday of Week 9, with the winning house to be crowned at the Book Week Assembly.
It's been an incredibly close contest. This week, Oxley has edged into the lead, just ahead of Cook, while Sturt and Flinders remain close behind. With one week left, every book counts. Which house will rise to the challenge and read their way to victory?
