Principal's Message

Thank you to our school community
As we come to the end of Term 3, I would like to thank all members of our school community for your contribution to another successful term.
Highlights have included the Year 3 Camp at Lake Dewar, the Ski Camp at Mt Buller, a range of incursions and excursions such as the Year 2 visit to Myuna Farm and the Year 5 excursion to the Museums, District sports events, the Year 3 Dance program, Move and Learn, and of course, the Year 5 Production.
A special thank you goes to our dedicated staff for all that they do to provide students with a rich and engaging learning program.
We wish you and your families an enjoyable holiday break and look forward to welcoming everyone back for the first day of Term 4 on Monday 6 October.
Year 5 Production
Congratulations to our Year 5 students for their singing, dancing and acting in this week’s performances of Beauty and the Beast Jnr at Rowville Secondary College. They were outstanding!
This experience provided our students with a special opportunity to develop their performing arts skills, work collaboratively, and perform live in front of an audience.
I extend my sincere thanks to our Performing Arts Teachers, Ms Dimatina and Mrs Barron. They had a clear vision and worked tirelessly to support every student to perform at their best. Huge thanks to the Year 5 team for their work behind the scenes and to our team of teachers and support staff throughout the school who have helped with choreography, make up, props, truck driving and backstage support.
Working Bee and BBQ
A special thank you to everyone who supported last week’s Working Bee and BBQ. I am truly grateful for the role each of you played in making these events such a success.
This extends to everyone who joined the Working Bee helped prepare the junior playground so it was ready to be opened on Monday morning. Our Prep and Year 1 students were so excited to be the first to play in the space.
Thank you also to those who volunteered their time to run the BBQ and second-hand uniform sales—your generosity makes these events possible. We are equally grateful to everyone who made purchases and donations, helping us raise over $2,000.
Our next BBQ will be held in Term 4 as part of our 60 Year celebrations.
Works over the holidays
You will notice some improvements to the school grounds when you return to school for the start of the term including some painting and line markings for new games in the playground.
