Principal's Message

Dear parents, students and families,

Last Wednesday some of our students from Years 3-6 represented our school at the District Cross Country against students from our local schools. They all completed their run with 11 students now progressing to the next level of competition at Hastings for the Peninsula Zone Cross Country. Thanks to the families who were able to attend to support and the staff who accompanied our students. On Friday last week our Year 5/6 students competed in senior sport against Seaford Park PS. The results were varied but that is not the whole point!

During the week the students also benefited from the SEDA organisation running basketball clinics for them as part of their sports curriculum.

This week we have had our Mothers Day stall and I thank the parents who organised the gifts, the set up and the parents who staffed the stall on the day. It is so important that each student feels they have found something special for their mum at home. On Friday we celebrate our Mums with our annual morning event. I thank Mrs Brooking and all the staff involved in making this such a special event that is eagerly awaited each year. I also wish all of our mums' and grandmas' a special day on Sunday no matter what you have planned, or hopefully your family have planned for you!

Next Monday 11th May we have our House Sports which encompass sprint races and we welcome back the Kaboom organisation with their great variety of fun and tabloid games. Our senior sport will continue for our seniors each Friday until the 29th of May.

Looking further ahead we will have our Walk to School morning on Thursday 21st May and at 2.30pm on Friday 22nd May we will have the formal opening of the new senior block.

Please keep in your prayers our students currently attending Mass to support their enrolment for First Reconciliation and First Eucharist.

God Bless.
