Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire     

The fourth book and man this is an emotional rollercoaster!

Here's the plot:  Harry is back at Hogwarts for the 4th year, and this year is different.Hogwarts is taking part in the Triwizard tournament- a competition of three trials, each one more dangerous than the last. The other two schools taking part are Beauxbatons Academy of Magic and Durmstrang.

The first three names chosen from the goblet are Victor Krum, Fleur Delacour and Cedric Diggory,  but the last name chosen is Harry Potter (chosen under a fake school) even though Harry didn’t put his name in the goblet.  

So, Harry takes part in the three trials. The first trial is to steal an egg from a dragon which Harry does on his Firebolt broomstick. The second trial is to save someone from the lake which Harry has to save Ron but instead he saves everyone from drowning and becoming mermaid food. The third trial is a maze which Cedric and Harry make it to the Triwizard cup  and take it  but it's revealed the cup was a portkey-  an object that can take you anywhere. 

Harry and Cedric end up in a graveyard with Peter Pettigrew who is mixing a combination of ingredients to try and revive ‘he who shall not be named’.  Peter kills Cedric then takes some of Harry’s blood and revives ‘he who shall not be named’ fully.  Then Harry and ‘he who shall not be named’ have a duel, but Harry and Cedric’s corpse escape, landing in front of Amos  (Cedric's father) and everyone else there.

It's revealed that Mad Eye Moody is actually Barty Crouch Jr (voiced in the films by Doctor Who himself David Tennant)  who drank a Polyjuice potion and became Mad Eye Moody.  So now Harry, Ron and Hermione must find the rest of the newly revived Voldemort’s Horcruxes to fully kill him.
