We’ve had a busy week putting the final touches on our School Concert routines and ensuring our costumes look spectacular. We can’t wait to perform for our audiences next Thursday. A reminder for all parents to ensure you have given permission for your child to attend the rehearsal and concert day on the Sentral Parent Portal.
School Concert Information
Our School Concert Tickets went on sale on Monday 20th July at 10am through the Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre (BMEC) box office or online. Matinee tickets are still available, with a waiting list for our evening show. Ticket prices are;
Adult - $30
Concession - $23
Child (under 18) - $13
The concerts will be held on Thursday 6th August. The matinee performance will commence at 11am and the evening performance commences at 6.30pm. All children in K-6 will perform in both the matinee and evening performances and will not require tickets to the concert. Please mark these dates in your calendar to avoid disappointment.
Commonwealth Games Day - Our 'Be Skilled, Be Fit' Commonwealth Games Day is being held tomorrow, Friday 31st July, on the school grounds. All children have been allocated a country that they will represent. Classroom teachers have given this information to children. Children are encouraged to wear their country's colours on the day. The cost of the day has been paid for from the money raised during the Easter Hat Parade earlier this year. Parents are still required to give permission for children to participate in this activity. It will be a wonderful day of activity and fun whilst also learning more about the Commonwealth Games. Parents are welcome to come along and support us on the day. An overview of the day is below:
9.10 – 9.40 – Opening Ceremony – Infants and Primary
Children will assemble in country groups in the top playground.
9.40 – 11.00 – Infants and Primary Events Combined
11.00 – 11.30 – Recess
11.30 – 12.00 – Closing Ceremony – Infants and Primary
Term 3 Parent Teacher Interviews - Our Parent/Teacher Interviews have been organised for Tuesday 11th August and Wednesday 12th August for the Support Unit classes (held in the Interview Room) and Monday 31st August - Friday 4th September for all other classes (held in the Annexe). These meetings will allow parents to meet with teachers, talk about your child's progress during Semester 1, find out what is to be taught during Semester 2 and talk about any issues or concerns you have. Interview bookings are open through the Sentral Parent Portal. Interviews will be face to face or via phone. If there are any issues, please contact the office at school.

Our 10-Day Term 4 Intensive Swimming Program will occur from Monday 23rd November - Friday 4th December at the Manning Aquatic Centre. This program will be open to all children from Kindergarten to Year 6. The children will be taught by qualified Swimming Instructors employed by the Manning Aquatic Centre. Sessions will be 45 minutes long and will run for 10 days between 9.15am and 2.00pm. Children will be accompanied to and from the pool by school staff. The cost will be $105.00 for the 10-day program, including bus travel, facility entry, and professional instruction. This can be paid through our Sentral Parent Portal or at the front office via cash or EFTPOS. Active Kids and First Lap vouchers are not accepted this year. If you would like your child to attend, please answer the questions through the Sentral Parent Portal. Medical information is not provided or updated through the Portal. Please contact the front office with any medical updates. A deposit of $50 must be paid to secure your child's position in the program by Thursday, 24th September. The final balance must be paid by Friday, 6th November. After this date, there will be no refunds. Parents will be informed of the details of their child's classes before the program commences. Parents are asked to contact the school and update their child's medical information closer to the start of the program, if necessary.
