From the Principal

Hi everyone

Firstly, thank you to our amazing community for supporting our book week parade and dress up day. I am sorry I missed it as I have heard many amazing stories about fabulous costumes!

I would also like to thank our Trivia Night team for their organisation of a fantastic night! Thank you to our Trivia Master Andrew Williams, to all of our sponsors and to those who donated. Finally, a big thank you to our community for coming along and making the night such a big success. The money raised will go towards some 3D printers along with a reading tree in our new library!

We are tracking well with our morning routines, with our average late arrivals falling once again! We are now averaging 21 per day, which is half of what I first reported about a month ago. Well done everyone!

Our next fundraiser is our OGPS Cook Book, for which we are seeking your family recipes. If you have a family (or individual) signature dish then please send it through to Melissa and her team. Orders for our cookbook are also open, so please check Compass for further details.

We have our Father's Day Foundation breakfast this Friday. We will also have a coffee cart on the basketball court from 8.50am for all non Foundation dads to grab a free cuppa at morning drop off. We look forward to seeing you all there!

Finally, I would also like to take this opportunity to wish all of our Fathers - across the generations - a fantastic Father's Day!

Till next time
