Loving God,

Today we give thanks for the fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, uncles and father figures who surround us with love, encouragement and care.

Thank You for the many ways they support us, guide us and help us to grow. We are grateful for the moments they share with us—the conversations, the laughter, the lessons, the hugs and the memories we create together.

Lord, bless the fathers in our families. Give them patience when things are difficult, wisdom when they need to make decisions, strength when they are tired, and joy in the precious moments they share with their families.

We also remember those who may find Father’s Day difficult—the fathers who are grieving, those separated from their children, and those who have lost their own fathers. Surround them with Your love and comfort.

Help each of us to recognise the people who have been a source of love and guidance in our lives and to show them how much they mean to us.

Amen.

As we celebrate Father’s Day, take a moment to wonder:

What is one thing I am grateful for about my father or father figure?
What is one special memory I will always treasure?

“As a father has compassion for his children, so the Lord has compassion for those who fear him.” – Psalm 103:13

Special invitation for Prep Families,

We warmly invite Prep parents and children to join us for a special Faith Workshop where we will explore God’s great love for us. Together, we will reflect, pray, and participate in activities that help us discover how God is always with us, cares for us, and loves each of us uniquely.

Parents are invited to come along with their child and share this special faith experience together. Please collect your child from their classroom and bring them to the chapel at the scheduled time.

We look forward to sharing this special moment of faith, connection, and learning with our Prep community.
