We are all unique! Neurodiversity Day

Student Leaders and SRC

On the 23rd of August 2023 Sandringham College celebrated Neurodiversity day. The day was filled with games, live music, and a wet sponge activity to raise money and awareness for Amaze’s Hoodie up for autism campaign. We would like to congratulate Felix Ritchie, who correctly guessed 230 jellybeans in our jellybean contest; additionally, we would like to thank all those involved in setting up the activities, and the staff involved in the sponge-throwing activity. As a result of their efforts, we are more than proud to have raised $255.70!

So who are Amaze?

Amaze is a leading autism organisation driving change so that Autistic people and their families can live their best lives. Founded in 1967, Amaze has helped build understanding in the community, pushed for changes of policy, and provides resources to not only Autistic people, but also the wider community. The “Hoodie Up for autism” campaign, launched in 2019, allows for individuals, schools and businesses to show their support for Autistic people.
