Kindergarten Craft Afternoon
All Kindergarten parents are warmly invited to join us in your child’s classroom for a fun craft activity from 2:15-2:45 pm this Thursday 19 February. This is a great opportunity for you to become familiar with your child's environment and meet other parents in the class. While we know you are keen to know how your child is settling in, please organise a separate time to speak with your class teacher as this is a social event.
Scholastic Book Club Issue 1 Due
The deadline for ordering items from Issue 1 closes on Friday 20 February. Orders should arrive within 3-4 weeks from the closing date.
Reading together helps build confidence, imagination and a genuine love of books, and Book Club Issue 1 is a great place to start.
The last day to submit your issue 1 order is 20 February.
If you haven't placed your order yet, here’s what’s waiting for you in Book Club Issue 1:
✨ Receive up to 3 FREE books when you place your Issue 1 order
✨ Use your $5 discount code from your Issue 8 order last year (code below)
✨ Receive another $5 discount code to spend on Issue 2
We’re also celebrating National Family Reading Month — the perfect chance to slow down and share stories. Register for the 31-Day Challenge and you’ll go in the draw to win one of 50 signed copies of Mr Luke’s Magic Library: Dinosaur Trail
Book Club Issue 1 won't be around forever, so if it's still on your to-do list, now's the perfect time to order.
6W Assembly
Tuesday 24 February in the hall at 12:15 pm. Families are welcome to attend.
Meet the Teacher Evenings
Building a strong partnership with your child's teacher is essential. The ‘Meet the teacher’ session is a formal opportunity to meet your child’s class teacher, learn about the class organisation and routines, and be informed of the year’s teaching and learning programs.
The session will commence in the school hall with a 20-minute presentation, providing essential information about the upcoming school year. Following the presentation, parents will be invited to visit their child’s classroom, where they can meet the teacher, take a tour of the learning environment, and connect with other parents.
Please note, this event is designed to share general information and build community; it is not intended for one-on-one discussions about individual students. If you wish to discuss your child’s progress or specific concerns, kindly arrange a separate meeting with the teacher.
Wednesday 25 February
Kindergarten: 5:00 – 5:30 pm
Year 1 & 2: 5:30 – 6:00 pm
Thursday 26 February

Our teachers are looking forward to meeting you and discussing all the exciting things we have lined up for the year.
We kindly request that children do not attend the event, as their presence can create challenges with supervision and our duty of care responsibilities, as well as potentially disrupt the presentations. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
